I have resided and fished the Tampa Bay area all my life.
Unlike the 'part-time' guides out there, I spend an average of 5 days a week on the water. This time spent is a key to my fishing success. Before each trip, I go over the tides, winds, weather, and the many similar situations Ive come across over the years. I then put together and go over the plan with my client. My main goal on every trip is to make sure my customers leave the ramp happy. Being on the same page about what species we are targeting and how we plan on catching them is a great way to start off a client/captain relationship.
Fishing is a game of patterns. The more you figure out, the more successful you will be.
